Grand Designs

This room will offer some of the best views in town when The Open rolls into Carnoustie next summer. It’s the first floor of the new building that I’ve yet to dream up a name for, amongst the other things I’m doing. Exciting stuff.

Earlier I’d woken up in my chilly room in St Andrews, had breakfast and a wander with Ruby then headed over The Tay to meet the guys in Carnoustie.

After that there was a mooch around the town looking for more signs of Mrs Smith’s family who used to be all over the place up there. Lots of Dalhousie and Maule Road type names around which were definitely signs.

Then, it was a relatively easy drive home for dinner and some telly catch-up.
