Practise makes

Here's Matt practising his recorder. There are a few conclusions to be drawn from this simple shot.

1. I need to learn a bit about photography. Or at least how to work my camera. Photography credits, by the way, must go to Andrew. But the camera settings are my fault.

2. Finding a Blip subject each day is tough, especially if you don't take your camera with you. I like to think I'm a free spirit who doesn't use anything as bourgeois as a handbag. But my pockets are a bit small.

3. Matt has more tenacity than his mother: I gave up the guitar when I hadn't mastered it in 30 minutes and my fingers were getting a bit sore.
