Bourton in a sphere...

...a work in progress.
I have long been impressed by Farishta's photos taken of a crystal sphere so decided to have a go myself having bought (a very inexpensive) one.
Let me tell you, if you want people to come and have a chat to you about what you are photographing, take out a crystal sphere. I have never been so popular!
Great fun and definitely a work in progress, I realised it matters very much where you place the sphere,  as in a couple of locations the reflection of the bench dominated too much of the refraction. Obviously the depth of field makes a big difference too. For a first go I was happy with these two (one in extras).
