The last Christmas.....

......this book will be used.  Started in 1999 it lists all the Christmas and Birthday presents I have bought over the years (and their cost) at the front of the book and all the cards sent at the back.  I have kept two earlier books - the first one started in 1967.  When the children and their friends were small I used to make lots of presents, including knitted outfits for Action Man.  The record meant that no child had the same present again.
It is fun to look back and find that in 2001 I made my eldest granddaughter a Bagpuss dressing gown for her birthday.  She is now all grown up and living and working in Paris.
