Cambridge

A shopping trip to Cambridge. So as well as searching the curtain department of John Lewis I had a walk to the river away from the crowds of early Xmas shoppers. It was so calm and peaceful there.

Home to meet up with Gill, my village chum. On Tuesdays our Baptist chapel has a little cafe serving delicious cakes and coffee. It just happens to be next door to Gill's house so off we went, all of 20 paces! Gingerbread latte and a date, walnut and coffee cake for me.
