Mistle Thrush
Now we have some feeders out and they are regularly topped up, we are getting more and more feathered visitors to our garden. I believe that this is a mistle thrush - but I could well be wrong.
We've cut up various apples to see which type they prefer, as an experiment. I wouldn't be able to identify them by name. only from the tree that they came from, but it means that we can then have a major clear up of windfalls and leave the ones that are tasty to the birds.
