The summit stands just 373m (1,224ft) above sea level, but the view is good for little effort expended. On a day like today, the mountains of Scotland are clearly visible across the Solway Firth. From the angle of this photo, Bassenthwaite lies to the left and Skiddaw to the right, under cloud.
