Work in the morning, and there were lots of us in, which was good.
In the afternoon, I did lots of hoovering/housework at home before going up to dad's to check in with Ian the odd job man. He is getting on well again, and impressed by what I have managed to do. (But I pulled a muscle in my ribs on Friday and it is still a bit sore so not doing so much this week). Then to Homebase to look at their electric fires. Much cheaper than gas ones, and it is not needed for heat, just appearances so electric is probably the way to go.
