Between the Clouds

Back to work today, Annie in Bristol before flying to Edinburgh this evening. I (Chris) was local so much simpler. A chilly day and despite a look at some icy leaves first thing, I didn't actually take a usable photo until this evening. Since getting a 150-600mm lens earlier this year, I'd not tried a moon shot so despite the clouds, I had a go and was please with the definition even at 600mm. Be interesting to see how good it is on a clear day.

A "mystery macro" evening at the camera club. Members submitted macro images for the rest of us to guess the subject in the first half of the evening with a "big reveal" version in the second half so we could understand what we'd been looking at! Some great creativity (and photography) was on show, a good fun evening as we had plenty of images to guess at.
