Golden leaves on the ground. Felt merry for a moment. Then melancholy. Wished I was in Wales thirty odd years ago. Mountains. Sea. Wondered who I was. Who I am. Where I'm going. Thought about you. Thought about us all. Thought about the government. Bastards. Looked at the moon. Looked at the stars. Looked at my bank statement. Hoovered the car. Ate Kettle Crisps. Read the paper. Drank wine. Got drunk. Took pills. Boiled an egg. Changed my underwear. Bought a jumper. Took a bus. Thought about trains. Cleaned the windows. Polished my shoes. Had a haircut. Watched Magical Mystery Tour. Smiled. Got sad. Hugged my girlfriend. Thanked God. Smoked a cigarette. Took out the garbage. Went to the doctor. Thought about myself. Again. Thought about you. Again.
