can stride along with a cloud
over her head. She’s allowed
(even when it’s sunny) to be miserable

as she heads off to work
carrying a clipboard and a list of
tasks to get through. Nothing can be missed off.
She has it all to do and won’t shirk

her responsibilities, even though she feels
like shit (Sorry to be blunt!) today.
But who knows, things may go her way
and returning tonight she’ll be all smiles

and feeling slightly silly for being down
(about nothing really?) as she headed into town.
