The meadow

Whilst I was busy at work yesterday, W was busy, cutting down most of the meadow.  He left a little, because it's tempting to hope that the seeds will attract some birds.  It will have to be cut and removed at some stage, because the meadow has to be deprived of the "die back" to keep the land as low in fertility as possible.  But the man who created the meadow and our wildlife pond originally is coming next week, and we'll get advice from him.

W also planted the Wollemi pine.
