Day Twenty Six, Tropical Gardens

After a lovely chinese with friends last night, we both slept well.

Today has been spent wandering our favourite spots for one last time, well, until next year that is. We had one final coffee in Bar Unique, a final light lunch in Cafe de Paris, and as always our last evening meal will be at Wolfis sat by the sea. Todays blip is looking out over the hotel Jardin Tropical, towards La Gomera. Visibility was really good today, if you look closely off to the right, you can just make out the outline of El Hiero, another of the small Canary Islands.

Ive done most of the packing this evening. Kept out our warmest tee shirts and jumpers for our return later tomorrow, looking like zero degrees, so think we will feel a bit chilly!

Im just sat uploading this, watching the sunset, a really nice sight, but not a spectacular one! Mum has been in my thoughts today, it was a year ago today that she took poorly :-(

Another month that has whizzed by, looking forward to seeing everyone back home over the next week or so........and I suppose we will put the suitcases into the loft and bring down the christmas tree etc. :-/
