Flower

I took this photograph this morning as the sunlight shone for a brief few minutes into the kitchen, slanting low down through the window.  I asked myself, will I bother getting the camera out?  Then I thought, these fragile moments are worth celebrating and took several shots, and so I have a record of what it felt like to look at this flower in the vase on this day.
