Puggy Line Bridge

We were working on the slopes above Leanachan Forest again today. The extra gives a flavour of the climate at greater elevation.
With so much snow the burns (hill streams) are normally quite low but the three we negotiated today were quite awkward.Rather than retracing our steps and crossing them again we elected to return to the forest by a different route putting about an extra mile or so (and more climbing) on to the course. Total ascent today was about 1400 feet, nothing if you are on the hill for fun but more than most folk will do in their work day.

I must say I enjoyed the extra walk.
