Can't see the wood for the trees

Today was just awful. 

I woke up late, then spilt my breakfast all over the floor, and then I was stuck on the m6 for 3 hours following a terrible crash at junction 33. This put me in a  delightful mood for work once I arrived. The meetings were dull, and everyone just p***ed me off. 

In retrospect, I am glad I was late so I wasn't involved in that crash and overall, I have a fantastic job. Even if things move slower than a snail in reverse.
