Changing Season

I was amazed to see my rotary drier in the shade at midday! The sun is certainly getting lower in the sky.

The season are also changing as I'm washing my winter curtains to get them put up. 'A' thinks these curtains are not a cosy winter colour like the others, but they are thermal. Washed four pairs of curtains whilst the sun was shining.

A busy day turned into a stressful one today.

Willow came in with a muddy mark on his side. Then Flora came in and hid under the easy chair. She cried when she walked, and flinched as she tried to open her eyes. The security cameras earnt their keep - a ginger cat had attacked her. After quite a scuffle Willow came to her rescue. There was a huge amount of white fur where they fought.

By midday it was obvious she had to go to the vet. She has a puncture wound somewhere on her head which is causing her eye to be sore. Back tomorrow to see how things have progressed. Till then she is full of antibiotic, anti-inflamatory and morphine. A prinecly £70 worth! She's sitting upright refusing to give in and go to sleep, but she seems calm and comfortable.
