Nights out this week that is, and it's going to continue busy. In Nottingham tomorrow and a tennis club fund raiser on Saturday. Early night Friday?

Tonight was choir rehearsal. The music director congratulated us on an excellent concert last Saturday. He hadn't expected it to go so well. What a difference, he said, watching the conductor makes!

Tonight we looked at some shorter pieces that we shall perform at the choir's 90th anniversary concert next March. Short does not mean easy. There are some musically demanding motets by Bach, Brahms and Bruckner to begin with. At least we get a break now until the new year.
