Interior - AT127
The living part of the villa is all furnished in Chinese style, I thought with the fruit basket and the bamboo greens in the garden it made a painterly subject for today's Abstract Thursday challenge. Taken on the iPad and edited in Snapseed. Looking forward to seeing your entries , don't forget to tag them AT127 !
As for us in Bali, we're in limbo, today was the day we were originally flying off to Singapore, but in view of the situation yesterday morning (airport closed and saying it wouldn't open at least until this morning, and KLM having stopped flying to Denpasar until further notice) we decided to change our booking to Sunday, with cooperation of the villa management who were happy for us to stay another three nights. And then we found out late in the afternoon that the airport had re-opened, and later that KLM has resumed flying on Denpasar, but with a daytime schedule and that their first flight out of Denpasar would be early on Friday morning. All of this obviously can change any moment because of a changing wind direction or major eruption. We're not wanting to go camp at the airport and are quite comfortable over here in Nusa Dua, so we'll stick to yesterday's decision now, but it's all rather unsettling, we really have no idea what's the best thing to do. Of course much more unsettling for any travellers having to be somewhere else and very unsettling for the affected Balinese population, as Mt Agung is meanwhile continuously spuming its fumes and a major eruption is as imminent as it was since Saturday.
Thanks so much for your kind comments and stars for yesterday's bold squirrel !
