Day Of Arrival

We started our trip to Strasbourg in the sun. We travelled through Holland and Germany along the rivers Maas and Rhine.

At Kandel we crossed the border between Germany and France. Klingenthal, the village where we will stay this week, has a name that sounds German ( you even spell it the German way) but it is situated in France.

The conference takes place in 'un petit château', a small but lovely castle, where the former cellars are renovated and transformed into a rather big conference room.

According to the list of participants, there are 32 guests. They represent the countries Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Georgie, Hungary, Ireland, Italy,Netherlands, Norway, United Kingdom (Wales). The conference language is English.

During the journey the sky slowly darkened and when we arrived it rained. The image is a snapshot of the front (the entrance) of the castle. The available Internet connection is poor. First while Klingenthal is surrounded by mountains and second, too many people use it at the same moment. So I backblipped this entry.

Thank you for passing by today ... ;)
