Shadow painting

The sun was streaming through the dining room window today casting really sharp shadows on the opposite wall. So, Abstract Thursday I thought, I'll paint a picture with shadows. I'm reasonably happy with the result. I didn't have as much time as I thought I would as the sun seemed to be moving at quite a pace. Also I banged my head a few times as I had to set up the tripod under the table. I played around a bit with Color Efex Pro4 and found a graduated filter made it a bit more interesting. The roses were a bit tired and in case you're wondering the extra shows the bronze figurine which made the second shadow.
