Name change

I've always enjoyed going to Maxies in Stockbridge, but haven't been in the area for ages. I was taken aback to see that the establishment there is now called Cowan and sons. All seems the same inside, apparently the names changed in July.... I hadn't realised it had been that long since I was there.
They have recently had a heritage grant to restore the windows so I wondered if perhaps the name is the name of the original shop.
Good food as always though. I particularly enjoy their French toast with bacon and maple syrup, they use baguettes for the French toast.
