First snow

We had our first snow today. It was only a little at first in the afternoon when I was still at work, but it started to fall more heavily when I'd finished my shift and I was on the bus back to the apartment. I'd hoped to get a better photo of it when I was walking home from the bus stop, but what had already been a grey and very gloomy day before was unfortunately very rapidly getting darker when I eventually got off the bus and this was the best shot that I could manage.

The snow was staying rather well on the grassy areas but most of what was on the road and pavement was melting on my walk home. Going to work tomorrow is going to be such fun (not!) if it freezes tonight, which it is forecast to do!
