The season of giving:)

We have been collecting money at work for a couple of weeks for a sponser family. We have been doing this at Christmas for about ten years or more. We used to buy for the supervisor and he would buy for us but I was tired of doing that and it seemed someone else would benefit from the money alot more ,so I asked if we could change what we did. Everyone agreed and over the years more departments have gotten involved. This year we raised $1000, the most yet. We had a family with four children and a Mom and tonight was our shopping night. We mostly give gift cards so Mom can shop for her kids but we also like to buy a few things for the family. Hats and gloves are always given , and a board game they can all enjoy, this year it was Sorry. A Christmas mug for everyone with some hot chocolate mix and some popcorn and of course a box of chocolates. We made sure to include a few things for Mom. We also like to give a gift card for the kids to go shopping for their Mom. We have a great time shopping and I really hope the family has a wonderful Christmas. No time for photos today so a quick blip of some baubles on my kitchen table decoration.
