"Dad's got a saw for that mate."

About 15 years ago as we extended the house we had two little boys who loved all the trucks and tradies who came to visit. On one occasion a large truck backed up the driveway to deliver the roof trusses. It clipped a tree branch of our beautiful silver birch and the driver then broke it off completely. An almost 4 year old A said, "Dad's got a saw for that mate"......he barely spoke to adults as a rule so this comment has become a bit of a family legend. Today that little boy and his brother had the sad job of chopping down the tree which had all but died and was looking dangerous in high winds....And now he has his own saw.
