Not Venice

Yesterday it was an al fresco breakfast with the temperature in the mid-20's. This morning the temperature gauge in the car read 1C as I dropped the kids off at school.

Back to the weekday routine of school, walking in woods and work.

This evening Joe and Eve told me they had made a presentation to the class on their trip. Eve described the canals, buildings, masks and glass making. Joe told them it smelled of cigarettes and old fish.

I seem to have come back with a cold and so as it's three days to the big sea-to-sea adventure I'm off for a hot bath and a Laphroig.
