Crail Harbour
This morning we caught the bus from St Monans to Crail so that we could walk the seven miles back along the Fife Coastal Path.
It was a delightful walk in perfect sunny weather taking in five of the old fishing ports of the East Neuk - Crail, Cellardyke, Anstruther, Pittenweem and St Monans.
At Cellardyke we were delighted to see some dolphins. We only had fleeting glimpses of their dorsal fins, but it was a first for us. Standng on the harbour wall at Pittenweem we had a close sighting of a seal and also saw many eiders. Pittenweem is the only village on the East Neuk that is still a working fishing port.
For my blip I have chosen this view of Crail Harbour at the start of our walk.
