A walk in the snow

Cosmo seemed quite happy to go out for a walk this morning despite the cold and the snow. Of course she had her best tweed wool lined coat on which must help to keep out the cold. She does not seem to be too interested in the snow either way. Some dogs love it (my Dad's dog did), but Cosmo seems pretty indifferent.

We took more or less our usual route around the wood and Denman Park. We met a Dachshund called Harvey. They were so busy getting to know each other that Harvey's owner was a long way away by the time Harvey noticed and decided to leave us. Harvey had to put on quite a sprint to reunite himself with his owner.

Here we are heading towards home, and I think both Cosmo and myself are both wondering if those clouds indicate we are going to get caught in another show shower before we get back. In the end the snow flurry never materialised, instead there was a slight thaw during the afternoon. I was pleased that Cosmo managed to keep herself both reasonably dry and clean while we were out. That makes a change!
