MUSHROOM

I had been looking for some time to find one of these red mushrooms and only had found the ones that looked ugly, or half eaten.
But now in the afteroon we drove to Herstelle, and intended to have a look at the making of the new road that will connect Herstelle directly to Deisel.
We had wondered how the road would transfer the hills. It did seem today that there will be made a tunnel. Anyway we could still walk the road that goes up and up, and our fears that in the future this road could be useless, was without ground.
So we walked till we reached the marvellous lookout from where a wide view of the Weser valley is possible.
The snow that had fallen was still there, on the trees, the branches, and the benches.
On our way back we discovered a lot of chinese lanterns plants, the orange colour of the lanterns so lovely shining. A strange place for these plants, and how did it happen that we had not seen these before?
We collected some, and behind these plants we saw between the trees this colourful mushroom. Ready for a picture.
Happily we reached the car before the dark.
In the morning I had painted again. These walls a bit more complicated than the one I did before, and I could not finish my job.
But better to go for a walk, enjoy the cold fresh air.
