Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum)

At the entrance to Caldbeck church and 'famous' as one of Cumbria's 50 best trees. Normally a resident of the Pacific side of the Sierra Nevada. Impressive it is -120 feet high with a very 'squidgy' bark. No idea how it ended up here but apparently they grow well in Europe.
