Christmas Tree Festival

I was in Corbridge today for 2 dental appointments. One was to take impressions ready for the implant. (Yes that's become a very long drawn out saga.). The other was with the hygienist.

Corbridge Parish Church is near to the dental surgery and I popped in to see their annual festival of Christmas trees. They are beautifully displayed with local businesses and local community groups all represented. Some were very innovative and unusual. The Tennis Club made theirs of tennis rackets and lights. 

My extra shows one that stood out as incongruous. All the others had the name of the business displayed rather quietly.......... See what you think.

I've decided that Christmas may now be on the agenda.

Last night we had some rain after the snow and then it all froze; it was treacherous to walk this morning. 

Mum spotted a sparrow hawk sitting on the handrail to our back garden. It looked magnificent but we fear for our little birds.
