Cake!

To celebrate my birthday today, DH and I went to the Andrew Wyeth exhibit at SAM. Wyeth has a unique style to be sure and he was a master of it. So much detail! There was a painting of fall leaves under a thin layer of ice that was so amazing. I've never seen so many interesting frames too.

After, we went for lunch at one of my favorite places called The Pink Door (in Post Alley at the market). Coincidentally, they were celebrating their 37th anniversary with a huge pink-iced cake. We both saved room for a piece (extra). Coconut cake with orange and chocolate ganache plus the icing was coconutty. So good.
