Harbor Flag

I've been finding it difficult to find photography subjects at home, so I'm happy to be on Cape Cod for a few days.  Before my dinner plans with my sister and brother-in-law I had a couple of hours on my own.  The sun sets very early here, so the lighting was already changing at 3 PM.  I went to the local harbor to find some boats, birds, or whatever.  This American flag was flying over the boatyard, backed by sunlit clouds.  I decided to use it as my subject.  Of course it made me think of American politics, but after spending a couple of hours in the car listening to the news, I was drained and just wanted to admire the sight.  I noticed a truck idling in the parking lot.  It was the Harbor Master before heading home.  He stopped and commented that he doesn't usually take the time to really see the clouds, flag, boats, etc.  I was glad he also enjoyed the sight.
