At Benaroya Hall
Today I went to Seattle with the Friends of the WWU Music Library to a matinee concert by the Seattle Symphony. Before the concert several of us went to The Brooklyn for lunch. I love that place. Then we had the pleasure of hearing Rachmaninov’s third piano concerto played by Kirin Gerstein. Wow! After intermission we heard Franck’s Symphony in D minor. Great concert. I made a new friend on the bus ride up and back. We talked the whole way both ways. Nice fellow named Shelly.
