In Patient Lucas

FYG (Favorite Youngest Grandson) was checked into the hospital by his mother last evening; seems he had excruciating pain in his lower right abdomen.  After an early morning confirming ultrasound, a surgeon removed his appendix.  For a 7 year old lad who has consistently refused all oral medication, to experience the needles of blood tests and intravenous was quite an adventure.  He now has a very small incision in his lower stomach which is simply taped shut.  He said it wasn't so bad.
