First swim

30 degrees at our house today.

Too hot for me.
Desperate for a swim.
Took the dogs down to the beach at New Brighton late afternoon.
It's always a bit of a hit and miss there as to whether it will be an onshore breeze or not, which blows sand everywhere.
It was calm today though and the water was warm! Such a great swim.
The dogs loved it too and I think we were nearly an hour playing in the water.

Weather is meant to continue with high temperatures for the next week.
We will need rain soon, it's so dry.
