Computer labs

Spent much of this afternoon and evening in the computer labs at the university helping Jacque to introduce the students to their e-portfolios.

I can't help thinking there must be an easier way, perhaps using a series of short screencasts. It's very difficult to keep everyone on track in a lab because people work at different paces. At one point this afternoon we had around 90 students in the big lab and it was impossible to deal with all of them. This photo is from this evening's session with the part time students, which was a little easier.
