Intersection

Near the top of Rannerdale Knotts, I turned to look back at the way I had come and was struck by the colours. The sun was sinking fast behind the mountains off to my right, and turning the fellside an almost flourescent bronze interlaced with vivid green paths.

I needed perspective and, as if by magic, this walker appeared from nowhere. I waited until she reached the intersection.....

Robinson lies directly ahead on the skyline with High Snockrigg in front. Buttermere is off to the right out of picture.
