I decided I was well enough from my cold to resume the weekly lunchtime run. The fabulous weather helped me to shave an entire 30 seconds from my previous time. Unfortunately, that is well within the margins of measurement error given how much time I spent fiddling with the iPod before and after the run.

This chap was, err, exploring some of the scaffoldings in town with his pal. Fascinating chat with them. They said they took up parkour partly because they wanted to do something different, and partly because they were rubbish at football. I told them that I dread the day football takes over my little boy's life, but hopefully being rubbish at that sport is an inheritable trait.
