Spinach With Cream

Back to Casa Joana after a visit to the Christmas Fayre in St. George’s Church, Barcelona. Nice to catch up with many friends there, nearly all older than us and beginning to show the signs of advancing years including dementia, Alzheimer’s or Parkinson's. The 63 year-old Scottish minister shared that he had actively planned the funeral service of each of his parents on his last trip home and joked that the only thing they noted that was missing were the dates! On a cheerier note, we bought Christmas crackers and mince pies to bring us some festive cheer . . . while we can still enjoy it!
