The Salvation Army

We don’t normally do our food shopping at the weekend, but we did go to Waitrose this morning.  I’m glad we did as we were treated to some Christmas Carols being played by North Walsham Salvation Army.
I’m not religious but I have always supported the Salvation Army for their charitable actions.  They may not be such a well- known charity as some others, but they provide a lot of help for victims of homelessness, modern slavery and poverty. Interestingly they have also joined up with another 100 organisations to campaign for action against climate change.  They are un-sung heroes in my mind and I don’t think they always get the recognition for all they do.
So well done The Salvation Army!!
