Another Way To Make a Living

The city clean-up crew strikes again! The same guys who were last seen hauling furniture from the breakwater are now power-washing the concrete steps to the beach. Apparently the steps get mossy and slippery, and someone's got to do it. Because of the very low tide, the surfers in the picture were able to walk along the sand; most of the time they are lugging those heavy boards up and down the very steep stairs. I'm pretty sure you can see our shadows sticking up on the right; I tried to wave, but I was afraid I'd end up dropping the camera down the cliff.

Note to ExtraDays: although I completely forgot the YellowFriday challenge, my subconscious seems to be functioning better than the one that's on top.
