Calm

A late start to the day meant I was chasing my tail for the rest of the day.  However the beef shin and Burgundy Pinot Noir were in the slow cooker by noon.  Today was the first time I have ever asked for a cut of meat and the butcher had to go out the back. He came back with half a cow! 

A photo shoot with this little fella then.  

Afterwards a meeting about next year's swim holiday followed by some washing up from the week's baking.  

An Impromptu gathering for dinner at a friend's later on... and some more tidying.  The beef bourguinon is for tomorrow's guests for dinner in the middle of the day.
