Mount Teide

We set off for a walk down to the village and l couldn’t resist taking a shot of Mount Teide. We continued down to the harbour then an energetic climb up the hills opposite to the cemetery. The views were magnificent and the weather beautifully sunny and warm. I am very impressed with the planning controls on the island, there are very few signs around. The petrol station was very inconspicuous and even hotels are only obvious when very close and most buildings are only two storey.

We returned in the afternoon as it began to cloud over and have had some more well needed rain this evening.
