ON THE BEACH....

....in DECEMBER in SHORTS.
The man is a nutter...although I do love him!!
After a really good nights sleep we enjoyed a late breakfast and then went back to bed for some morning TV (such lazy louts!!)
We drove back to Rye town centre but as it was pouring we decided not to walk around but instead chose to go to the beach!!!!
It was really windy and sleety by the time we reached the beach. In for a penny we still had a lovely stroll!!! A very nice lady made us a cuppa in her cafe which was officially closed for cleaning!! Then the sun came out.
Then we went to try and trace one of The Rev’s uncles but he has moved with no forwarding address...he was gutted. We left a gift for a friend by her front door. I haven’t seen her for several years but she was too unwell to join us for a cuppa. Both her and her husband have cancer...both are serious and have just finished chemotherapy. The gift of a mug, teabags and biscuits with a note of some happy memories really cheered her up apparently.
Drove home through some of our beautiful Kent villages..Appledore, Tenterden, Biddenden and stopped for tea in Goudhurst.
Collected Daisy from her stay with Mum and eventually got home about 8pm after a fabulous break.
RECOVERY PATH...day 33/60...beach trip!!
