Solidarity in the rain

Today a few stalwarts staged a sit-in outside Columbia Sportswear. The owner of the company donated $15,000 to the current Mayor's campaign. The Mayor then erected a sign outside the company's front door, declaring it illegal to sit on the sidewalk anywhere near the store. So the houseless are criminalized, pushed around, harassed, and made invisible. Activists today pasted "Mayor for Sale" signs over the signs making sitting on the sidewalk illegal (Extra).
