Good Bye Banff

Last day in Banff today. The sun is kindly shining and the skies are blue on this lovely day. Just went for a wander around the Tunnel Mountain Area and caught some glimpses of the Hoodoos- some funny-shaped rocks near Bow River. Found this beautiful Canadian Magpie in the parking lot as we were leaving. Very different to Australian magpies. Much more colourful and probably much less likely to try to peck your childrens' eyes out during nesting season.

Planning a "game drive" this evening- our last chance to see moose in the wild. Fingers crossed. Going to try and catch up on the sleep that eluded me last night first.
