Kingfisher.

This afternoon MaggieD and I returned to Higgins Neuk and, against expectations, the egret and kingfisher were still hanging around. so today's offering is that most colourful bird, the kingfisher.
On the way home we were passing Fiona's home and dropped in for a couple of minutes to see how James was. He is feeling (and looking) lots better and was happily running around playing with his toys. What a pleasing reversal from yesterday!
