Advent #3

The day I went way outside my comfort zone

I've blipped my friend Jo on here - we first met in October 1968 and still have lunch twice a year at the local vineyard.  Today was her 60th and they threw a big lunch at a converted barn in the middle of nowhere

So 70 mile round trip (furthest in 14 months) on my own - G was unable to come
-  getting lost because of the Sat Nav in a one-way system
-  roads so narrow bushes brushed both sides of the car 
-  and hills so steep I was praying I wouldn't need to do a hill start
-  and night time driving on a packed M5

So I survived and my trip to the hospital tomorrow will seem easy in comparison
