The Quest for the Supermoon

What a superb evening, warm and calm and lots of people out on North Head enjoying the summer weather, fabulous.

I figure everyone was out there tonight with their big lenses, so I thought I'd try to opposite and use a 10-20mm (at 11.5mm as it turned out). I did of course do some at 300mm as the red ball first rose over the flanks of Rangitoto, but I quite like the almost daylight effect of a long exposure and wide angle. It was a fun night.
